
My favorite Christmas cookie, which melts in your mouth!
1 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup corn starch
**Mix**
Add 1 cup flour
CHILL for 1 hour, remove from fridge and let thaw out a little (so that you can press with your thumb without the dough breaking). Roll into balls, press thumb into middle. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.
Frosting: 1 TB melted butter, 1 tsp almond extract, 1 cup powder sugar, food coloring. Add water as needed for consistency – I put the frosting into a baggie and cut the end and flute it into the holes of the cookie. The frosting will harden so you can put them in a container, but they are delicate. DELICIOUS!!!
